History

1998 - 3 months handbuilding course at kibbutz Kfar Hanasi, Israel.

1999-2002 - 3 year course at Beta Chan Art College, Israel. Focusing on learning how to work on the wheel and various different firing techniques.

2003-2004 - Position at a working studio making functional and decorative ceramics.Responsibilities included handbuilding, working on the wheel and preparing glazes.

2005 - I set up my own studio. By combining both handbuilding and wheel techniques i create one of a kind abstract animals. My work varies in size from 10-30cm in height. The smaller pieces i decorate with engobe and apply a crackle glaze which i then fire to 1033. The larger pieces i usually only decorate with engobes and oxides and i fire between 1180-1200. I have recently started to experiment with adding other materials to the clay such as beads and metals and fabrics to decorate.

- Teaches both handbuilding and wheel techniques in the local school.
- Various pieces of my work have been used in set design for a national television programme.
